  • November Bookstore Closures: 

  • Tuesday, November 11 - All day - Veterans Day 

  • Wednesday, November 26 closing at 12:00 pm 

  • Thursday November 27 through Friday November 28 - All Day - Thanksgiving

  • The Bookstore is located downstairs in Phifer Hall LRC in Room 80.

  • Online orders may take up to 1-2 hours to process in store. During Financial Aid and Student Account purchases, some orders may be delayed processing. Orders placed after 4:00 pm (Monday- Thursday) and 11:00 am (Friday) will not be processed until the following business day. Orders placed for home delivery will ship via FedEx ground the next business day. Please allow 2-3 days for delivery.

  • Please bring a photo ID for all in-store pick ups.

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm

  • Friday: 7:30 am - 12:00 pm

The Western Piedmont Community College bookstore is known as The Book Cellar. It is organized as a service to students which enables them to purchase books and supplies essential for the attainment of their educational goals. The Bookstore strives to hold student costs to a minimum and ensures that the mark-up of textbooks shall be reasonable and consistent with the mark-up prevailing among other North Carolina community colleges.

The Bookstore is committed to offering customers knowledgeable and courteous customer service. We are located on the main campus of WPCC: 1001 Burkemont Avenue, Morganton NC 28655. On campus we are in the bottom floor of Phifer Hall LRC - Room 80.

  • The Book Cellar operates under the WPCC Scehdule and follows their Inclement Weather policy found here: https://www.wpcc.edu/weather/

  • Bookstore operating hours subject to change when classes are not in session. Call 828-448-3186 for hours of operation.
